This Spanish artist derives her inspiration mainly from the personalities of older people. In this, she does not shun exaggeration or irony. Through her work in Ostend, Capdevila looks towards the future, which looks considerably less rosy than one would imagine at first glance. You see an elderly lady nipping at a cocktail, for example – on a landfill site. It is only obvious that the artist aims to draw attention to climate change through this work.
