In 2026, The Crystal Ship will have a permanent place in Ostend with THUISHAVEN. A recognisable base for the festival, where visitors can go for information, meeting and a drink in an environment that breathes street art.
THUISHAVEN also focusses on supporting street artists. With attention to the practice of mural and street art, from material use and work at height to pricing and professional framing.
As an accessible gateway to the field, THUISHAVEN connects artists with existing knowledge and support organisations. At the same time, there is room for exchange through talks, workshops and networking moments, tailored to the artists' living environment.
In addition, THUISHAVEN also offers room for presentation. In addition to working in the public space, young street artists have the opportunity to show their studio work here. In this way, the place grows into more than a starting point: a sustainable anchoring of the festival in the city, and a strengthening of the street art ecosystem in Flanders and beyond.
