Social themes are prominently visible in the work of Tom Herck. To illustrate that the price of weapons drops while the price of essential groceries rises in times of war, the Belgian artist made an origami warship from five-euro notes in a glass bottle. The price of a bottle of milk is suddenly equal to that of a hand grenade: five euros.
