1010 relishes sowing confusion: his optical illusions on walls, floors and in galleries are so lifelike that you would step into them without a second thought. The artist is mainly known for the abstract and colourful holes in which he sees gates to other worlds. His mural for The Crystal Ship is also part of his ‘The Loch (Hole) Series’, in which he evokes an immense depth through the use of concentric layers and shadows.
