ROA paints animals. Large, black and white, and meticulously detailed. Rabbits, birds, rodents: every muscle, every hair, every skeleton is perfect. The animals seem tranquil, yet they speak of life and death in the city. ROA's work appears all over the world, but it all began in Ghent. In 2016, he was in Ostend for the very first edition of The Crystal Ship. The pyramid of rodents he created then has since disappeared, but now ROA is back.
