Katie Green works with people who often remain unseen. In Ostend, she found them through the social-artistic project Spinaas. Participants with mental disabilities created papier-mâché masks. Green asked them to express their inner world through them. William’s mask—a great admirer of Ensor—was photographed in the Ensor House.
