Jook Doodle lives and works in Ostend. Her work gained international recognition when she transformed her entire home into a continuously drawn universe. Jook's creations surface from what she calls "droodles": free-form drawings without a predetermined plan. From this apparent chaos, figures and scenes emerge. The visual language appears light, yet touches on themes such as human urge, excess, and imagination.
