Her name may resemble that of a Japanese warrior, but Hyuro was a female street artist from Argentina whose dreamy pastel figures garnered international acclaim. The mural she drew in Ostend is a giant portrait of a woman attempting to repair an old vase – a reference to the political climate in Belgium and the frantic endeavours to keep Flanders and Wallonia together. The young artist passed away in 2020.
