Julien de Casabianca likes to shake things up. The Frenchman has a background as a photographer, a filmmaker, a graphic novelist, and a street artist. Not to say he’s a masterful painter, but that does not make his murals any less impressive. Casabianca takes characters from historical paintings, yanks them out of context, and ‘glues’ them onto towering walls, giving them a whole new life and often also a different meaning.
