Judith de Leeuw, aka JDL, is an Amsterdam-based street artist who, despite a difficult childhood, has risen to become one of the best-known names in the street art scene. Her black-and-white paintings, often featuring turquoise accents and golden circles, frequently address social inequality. Under the theme CHANGE, she depicts a world in transition and paints ‘Justitia’, the symbol of justice, as a commentary on a time in which this ideal is under increasing pressure.
